Navara Privacy Policy
Last updated: Oct 27, 2026
The short version
Navara helps students find colleges that fit them. To do that, we collect only what we need, we never sell it, and we delete it when you ask.
- No ads. We do not show ads, and we do not use your information for advertising.
- No selling. We never sell or rent your personal information.
- Only what's needed. We collect what the app needs to suggest schools and save your list.
- You're in control. You can ask us to show, fix or delete your information at any time by emailing support@getnavara.app.
What we collect
We collect the information below, and only when you give it to us or use the app.
- Account: your email address and a sign-in password (kept by our sign-in provider; we never see it in readable form).
- Academic profile (optional): GPA, SAT score and ACT score.
- Location (optional): your home ZIP code and how far from home you are willing to go. We use the ZIP code to estimate a map location for distance matching.
- Your preferences: the answers you give in the Navara survey, such as majors you like and the kind of campus you want.
- Your activity: the schools you skip, like or save. We also receive basic technical information, such as your browser or device type and how quickly the app loads.
We do not collect your name, home address, phone number, photos, contacts or precise GPS location.
How we use it
We use your information to do three things: suggest schools that fit you, keep your saved list, and run and improve the app. We do not use it to show you ads, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with schools, colleges, employers or advertisers.
We use a small number of companies to run the app. They handle your information only for us, to store it and to deliver the app:
- Supabase, which stores account and app data.
- FlutterFlow, which hosts the app, and Google Firebase, which measures how fast and reliably the app loads (technical details only, not your profile information).
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
Students under 18
Navara is for students age 13 and older. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent, guardian or teacher knows you are using it.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has an account, we will delete it. If you think this has happened, email support@getnavara.app.
If your school or teacher introduced you to Navara, we do not share your individual information with them.
Your choices and how we protect your data
- See or fix your information: you can change your GPA, test scores, ZIP code and search distance in the app on the Profile page.
- Delete your information: email support@getnavara.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will delete your account and its data within 30 days.
- How long we keep it: we keep your information while your account is active and delete it when you ask.
- Security: your information travels over encrypted connections and is stored with a provider that encrypts stored data. Each account can only read and change its own information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that nothing will ever go wrong.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and we will update the date at the top.
Navara is owned and run by Nicholas Cantalupo (an individual), United States.
